Champions League
Very tight this morning, entertaining games, getting rid of the away goal rule is maybe why, and good on them for doing it.

Dortmund and Atletico tied at 2-2 and PSG lead Barca by 3-1 although the Catalonian cheats have had a man sent off, about 25 mins plus stoppage to go in both.

Edit, 3-2 Dortmund!!!! Great stuff, hope both Spanish teams go out.

Agree - it wasn’t a great advert for INVERTED wingers

Re: Champions League
Looks like Roy Keane was probably correct in referring Haarland as a league 2 player, personally always thought he would score even more goals if he’d gone to Liverpool, with Robertson and TAA sending crosses in to him instead of him stood watching City tip tap across the penalty area.

Re: Champions League
Man City should have won comfortably last night but ineffective in the final third. Probably helps them win the League & FA Cup with that out of the way

Arsenal blew the first leg with Arteta's team selection. Didnt see the game last night apart from Kimmich hurling himself at the cross while Rice and ladyboy White stood like statues

Re: Champions League
The only excuse I would give Haalad is that he is a big bloke and City didn't cross the ball much last night. It was just tippy tappy around the area.

Re: Champions League
Strange tactics from Pep last night. He has two of the best scorers in the premiership from long range, De Bruyne and Foden yet all night they simply passed the ball across the face of the goal. Not once did either of them have a go, didn't understand it. Agree about Haaland, he seems to have lost it and isn't worth his place.

Re: Champions League
Dunno what the City fans were playing at holding onto the ball in the crowd when it was their players turn to take a penalty. Would have been deemed a brilliant penalty by Bernardo................if the keeper had dived!

Re: Champions League
Don’t think you’re right there lube, if there is a turnaround tonight it will mean Moyes has finally used some absolutely fantastic players to the best of their attacking ability…..the question would be why can’t he do this for a majority of the games?

Re: Champions League
Haaland’s stats home & away vs. Real Madrid:

180 mins played
11 passes completed
4 shots off target
0 assists
0 goals

But he will play Notts Forest soon, bag a hat trick, and claim the golden boot.

Sydney.

And yet Foden, the only ENGLISH penalty taker had no problem burying his.

Fuck Arsenal and fuck Man City (glad they both lost) and fuck 8th spot getting you into the Conference (not that I think we'll finish 8th now anyway) I can't stand the thought of the cunt bleating about ''4 in a row'' to all and sundry, and I'm also fed up of going to that bowl on a poxy Sunday, I want my Saturday's back.

Looks like extra champions league place going to Germany and 8th in Premier won't get you in conference

Re: Champions League
Pep wrong today…

Too much reliance down his left…

Not enough Foden…

Haaland false 9…

De Bruyne ran out of steam…

Inflexible Pep…ran out of ideas and luck…

His mate Arteta blew it too t o average Bayern…
